Bad River Elder Center Odanah, Wisconsin

Project Description: Krech Ojard has currently finished the design development phase and has moved into construction for an elder center facility and elder housing complex to be located on the Bad River reservation in Odanah, Wisconsin. Three buildings will be constructed in phases of this project. Two buildings will consist of housing units with twelve apartments in each building. In additional to the standard apartments, ADA accessible apartments will also be available. The two housing buildings will be in close proximity to an elder center where the residents can gather. The focus of the project is to provide community elders a place where they can lead an independent lifestyle, but the facility will also provide needed assistance on site. Krech Ojard will use sustainable materials and systems as the budget will allow.

Site planning and issues were designed and dealt with by both Krech Ojard Architects and Civil Engineers and with Landscape Architecture handled by Luke Sydow, ASLA of SAS Landscape Architects.
