Description: Krech Ojard & Associates was hired to design a replacement of a crib dock. The existing crib dock was deteriorating and was removed. The new replacement dock is a structural framed dock which has been a significant improvement. Sand is able to drift through the dock, eliminating the build-up which is apparent in the photo above.
Being a permanent, structural framed dock, it is designed to withstand severe Lake Superior storms and heavy ice accumulation in the winter.
