Description: Krech Ojard was hired by the Duluth Seaway Port Authority to analyze the main area used for shipping in the Duluth port. Work involved four heavily trafficked berthing areas in the Duluth-Superior Harbor with over two miles of docking facilities. KO performed surveys over multiple days to accommodate ship traffic and utilized Krech Ojard engineer-divers to determine facility sheet pile integrity and toe depth. KO prepared the baseline such that sedimentation transport analyses may be completed annually.
