Project
Description: This project involved the development of plans for facility and equipment upgrades to increase the rate of rail car unloading, stockpiling, reclaiming, and ship-loading at the Seward Coal Transfer Facility.
Improvements were designed to increase rail car unloading and stockpiling rates were to increase from 3000 TPH to 4800 TPH, while reclaiming and ship- loading rates were projected to increase from 1200 TPH to 2000 TPH.
The scope of the new design included modifications to conveyors, chutes, drives, structures, and electrical systems.

Facility is located in beautiful Seward, Alaska in Resurrection Bay which is located in the Golf of Alaska.

-Prepare detailed design packages (engineering,
material handling,
structural design)
-Prepare equipment specification packages
-Develop a Maintenance Program for the facility
