Description: Krech Ojard was commissioned by Canadian National Railway to design a realignment of the CN main line at Saunders, Superior, Wisconsin.
The realignment was intended to improve corridor train speed. The solution developed by Krech Ojard’s team of rail and civil team members, was implemented in the midst of an area of complex trackwork, and involved a construction plan implemented in stages to minimize disruption to rail traffic in the area.
Work for the project was completed in 2006.
