Description: Krech Ojard's Rail group, in conjuntion with North Shore Track Services, designed, upgraded and retrofit a rail yard capable of handling 100-car
unit trains.

 Special
Issues and Needs:
 To
reduce costs, the existing trackage was re-aligned
and switches were relocated wherever possible. Limited
space for construction and multiple tracks complicated
the design.
Services

• Completed topographic and preliminary design.
• Prepared detailed design to BNSF standards.
• Prepared drainage design.
• Provided construction layout
and staking.
