 |
Project
Description: Krech Ojard & Associates was commissioned by the St. Louis & Lake Counties Regional Rail Authority to provide engineering services for the replacement of the 32nd Avenue Railroad Bridge located in Duluth, Minnesota.

The concrete scenic railway bridge had significantly degraded through years of service and consequently required complete replacement. The existing city street (32nd Avenue East) and the utilities under and over the bridge had been recently been replaced.
Krech Ojard coordinated with the city, to ensure that the new design did not alter the existing street, utilities, and layout. The new bridge was designed with appropriate architectural features to blended with the aesthetics of the surrounding environment.
