BRULE RIVER BRIDGE & APPROACHES
Krech Ojard & Associates was hired to design and reconstruct the Brule River bridge and approaches on County Trunk Highway “S” over the historic Brule River.
The bridge is adjacent to a canoe landing and recreational area within Brule River State forest. The historic nature of stream, sensitive fish and wildlife concerns and involvement of public and private agencies added to technical challenges for this crossing.
The new bridge improves safety and comfort for the traveling public. The bridge’s aesthetic design blends with the natural setting and satisfies environmental concerns.
With a staff possessing a breadth and depth of experience in the field of civil engineering, Krech Ojard positioned to offer the range of services typical of larger firms, while retaining the individual, client-oriented focus of a much smaller one.
