STATE HIGHWAY 70 RESURFACING

Krech Ojard served as construction project engineer for WisDOT on the 12.07 miles of State Highway 70 resurfacing in Burnett County Wisconsin. The project was funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The project consisted of resurfacing of the highway and improvements to a wayside rest area. Work included asphalt milling, HMA pavement, sign replacement and permanent pavement markings.

The services provided included full-time site representation, material testing of base aggregate, full service construction management and construction administration including quantity calculations, submission of payment estimates, and project finals.

The project was the recipient of the Region’s Excellence in Asphalt Paving Award for 2010.
